They apply in particular to online orders for:
- dishes, menus, platters and products offered for takeaway;
- catering services;
- gift vouchers;
- products and services offered for sale on the website.
Any order placed on the website implies full and unconditional acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Au Pont de l’Ill reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, products will be invoiced based on the prices in force at the time the order is confirmed.

5. Orders
Customers may place orders directly on the website.
To confirm an order, the customer must:

Au Pont de l’Ill cannot be held liable in the event of an input error by the customer preventing the proper processing of the order.
6. Payment

The order will only be prepared after payment has been effectively confirmed, unless otherwise specifically agreed between the customer and Au Pont de l’Ill.

The customer must come at the date and time chosen when placing the order, or according to the terms specified in the order confirmation.
In the event of late collection, Au Pont de l’Ill cannot guarantee the optimal availability, freshness, temperature or tasting quality of the product beyond the scheduled time.
As food products are prepared for a specific date and time slot, any order not collected cannot be refunded, unless exceptionally agreed by the establishment.
8. Delivery
Unless otherwise stated, orders placed on the website are offered for collection on site.
If a delivery service is offered occasionally or as part of a catering service, the delivery conditions, any applicable fees, times and delivery areas will be specified at the time of order or during prior communication with the establishment.
9. Order Modification or Cancellation
Orders for food products, prepared dishes, platters, menus, catering services or any product specifically prepared for the customer are firm and final once confirmed and paid.

Au Pont de l’Ill reserves the right to accept or refuse any modification or cancellation depending on the progress of preparation, supplier orders already placed or the nature of the product ordered.
For catering orders, group orders or large orders, specific cancellation conditions may be communicated at the time of order, in a quote or in written communication with the establishment.
10. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable food products, products prepared according to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised products, or catering services provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Therefore, orders for dishes, menus, platters, fresh products, catering products or preparations made for a specific date cannot be subject to a right of withdrawal.
Specific Case of Gift Vouchers
For gift vouchers purchased online, the consumer customer may benefit from the legal withdrawal period of 14 days from the date of purchase, unless the gift voucher has already been used in whole or in part before the expiry of this period.

11. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers offered on the website may be used according to the conditions indicated at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, gift vouchers:
- are valid only at the Au Pont de l’Ill establishment;
- cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded after the legal withdrawal period has expired;
- may be subject to a validity period indicated on the voucher or at the time of purchase;
- must be presented when used.
In the event of loss, theft, damage or expiry of the gift voucher, Au Pont de l’Ill cannot be held responsible, except in the case of an exceptional commercial gesture.
If the amount of the service consumed exceeds the value of the gift voucher, the customer must pay the difference. If the amount consumed is lower, the remaining balance may be used later only if this is technically provided for by the gift voucher or accepted by the establishment.
12. Food Products, Allergens and Storage
The products offered may contain allergens. Customers are invited to report any food allergy or intolerance before placing an order or at the time of ordering where possible.
Au Pont de l’Ill remains available to provide information on the possible presence of allergens in its products.
Fresh products, prepared dishes and catering services must be transported, stored and consumed under appropriate conditions. After collection of the order, the customer is responsible for complying with the transport, storage and consumption conditions.
Au Pont de l’Ill cannot be held liable in the event of improper storage, late consumption or failure to comply with the instructions provided.
13. Product Availability
Products offered on the website are available subject to stock, supplies and the establishment’s production capacity.
In the event that a product becomes unavailable after the order has been confirmed, Au Pont de l’Ill will contact the customer to offer:
- a replacement product;
- postponement of the order;
- or a refund of the unavailable product.

However, the establishment cannot be held liable in the event of:

- failure to collect the order on the scheduled date or time;
- late collection by the customer;
- improper storage of products after collection;
- late consumption of products;

- force majeure or an event beyond its control.

Before referring the matter to a mediator, the customer must have sent a written complaint to Au Pont de l’Ill.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action.
Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts in accordance with ordinary rules of law.
